Team Leftee: Meet Stephen Campbell Jr



We are excited to announce the addition of Stephen Campbell Jr to the Leftee Golf team. A native of Richmond, Texas, Campbell Jr currently competes at Oklahoma University, one of the most storied collegiate golf programs in the country.


During his time in Norman, Campbell Jr has helped the Sooners capture multiple tournament championships and match play victories. In 2022, Campbell Jr was invited to compete in The Patriot All-America tournament. Among an elite field of the best collegiate golfers in the world, he finished T3 with a ten-under par 203.


During the ‘21-22 season, Campbell Jr boasted a season scoring average of 72.63 and nabbed a T5 finish at the 2022 East Lake Cup. He also posted back-to-back Top 20 finishes at the Thunderbird Collegiate and the Big 12 Championship.



Prior to wearing the crimson and cream, Campbell Jr tore it up around the state of Texas during his prep career. In 2019, he won the 5A State Championship while setting the TAPPS scoring record with a 131. Campbell Jr earned multiple First-Team All-District, All-Conference and All-State honors. On the AJGA circuit, he carded two runner-up finishes, five Top 10 finishes and was named a Billy Horschel AJGA champion.


A force in the Lone Star state, Campbell Jr placed 8th in the famed Texas State Amateur. In 2019 he represented the USA at the Junior President’s Cup and was also a 2019 Wyndham Cup participant. In 2020, Campbell Jr earned a Top 10 finish in the Dustin Johnson Junior World Championship.

As we looked towards adding a collegiate player to the team, Campbell Jr was as obvious a choice as it gets.”
